PATRONS

Evelyn Glennie:
"I have such fond memories collaborating with the Lung Ha Theatre Company at the Festival Theatre in Edinburgh several years ago. Their performances continue to expand in every way with results that engage and inspire performers and audience alike".

Alan Cumming
“Lung Ha’s is an exceptional company that does exceptional work with exceptional people. The standard of their work is matched only be the joy on their faces of those who are doing it. I’m proud to be a patron and encourage everyone to support them and of course come see them!”

Una MacLean

Alan Rickman

Philip Schofield

Sheena Wellington
“Lung Ha's Theatre Company means love, laughter, art, music, friends, challenge and fulfilment and that's what it's all about!"

FOUNDERS

Pete Clerke

Richard Vallis
“Pete (Clerke) and I worked together before Lung Ha's on a number of shows and performances, and I had discussed with him the idea of doing a one off performance with actors with a learning disability. He thought I was crazy but we agreed to give it a go. We passed the word around, and soon had 50 eager actors. The first performance, " Lung Ha's Monkey ", exceeded our wildest expectations and the members told us that we just had to carry on. The making of the second performance, " Lung Ha's Odyssey ”, was filmed by STV and shown as a documentary on Channel 4. The rest, as they say, is history”.
